Tri-State Trophies originally began in 1964 as a wholesale trophy business known as Deluxe Trophy in Evansville, Indiana, serving the tri-state area of Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. The business sold from one family to another and in 1985 moved to its current location, 1200 West Columbia at Fulton in Evansville, Indiana.
Tri-State Trophies has come a long way technologically – from a single hand engraver that required the user to load individual letters similar to a typesetter – to multiple types of computer engravers and cutting edge imprinting processes. As our business grew, we were asked by our customers to provide products outside our typical “trophy store” range of products. As we responded to their needs, our repertoire of products dramatically increased and our ability to fulfill our customer’s needs improved. We are proud to say we are truly a “one stop shop” as we can provide virtually any product our customers can dream up and tailor to their budget parameters.
After years of providing top quality trophies to the area’s car clubs, we began to see considerable growth in our car show award sales. Our car show customers asked for more car show oriented awards in addition to trophies. We responded and have developed exciting and unique car show awards and sell them world-wide. In particular, our dash plaques are the crowd favorite and we are known as the “home of the dollar dash plaque.” We are one of the few retailers who offer a flat rate for unlimited color imprint on dash plaques. We offer an astonishingly fast rush service on dash plaques. We have an incredible $300 special on car show trophies that our customers rave about. Our art gallery is full of past dash plaque layouts you can peruse to help create your own personalized layout. Our events page is full of show dates and locations to help you find car show information throughout the U.S. We love our car show customers and interacting with them year after year.

If you are interested in an internship, contact us and we will discuss the opportunities that are available. Generally, we require student interns to provide information about their areas of study, work hours available, and how working for us would enhance their field of study. Our retail store is open Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We are closed for major holidays and frequently close on the Saturday before or after a holiday.
